    What is it? 1979 85 hp Evinrude-PART

    I was replacing my CMC power trim and the part came in and I have a part which I don't know what it is. I believe it came from the area where the power trim attaches. The hole is very large is there perhaps a bushing which goes into it. Any help?

    Is it in Netural on 1977 85 Hp Evinrude after replacing water pump.

    I replaced the water pump on 1977 85 hp Evinrude. The shifting rod was hitting a rubber gromet in the hole at the top, I remove the gromet and pushed the lower unit together.
