    Changed the impeller and good Changed the impeller and good stream out the tube was wondering if I removed the thermostats if it would run cooler. This week was 105 degrees on water. The water temp was in 80's maybe its too hot to cool engine and stop alarm from sounding

    1988 150hp merc.ob oil injecte 1988 150hp merc.ob oil injected Feed line to upper oil tank has t fitting with a a hose coming off t fitting on tank fill hose line. Seems oil is coming from this hose that only is maybe a vent or does this hose go somewhere hope this is easy fix thanks joe}

    I have a mercury 150hp ob 1988 I have a mercury 150hp ob 1988 oil injected After running engine when boat came out of water I noticed oil on motor and lower unit. I opened up cowl and the black hose from the upper oil res.comes out of the res. and goes to the oil pump there is a y connection...
