    Starflite VII 1965 75 hp lower unit where do the wires attach

    Evinrude Starflite VII 1965 75 hp I was replacing the water pump and when I pulled the lower unit off I found 2 wires hanging. Where do they go? If 12 volt DC, is polarity critical? :(
