    I am a new to me boat owner, the engine is a 4.3 litre, v-6 190 hp mercrusier with thunderbolt ignition.     1989 4 irratic.3 v-6 mercrusier oil pressure gauge

    The oil pressure gauge on my 1989 4.3 v-6 190 hp bounces around irraticcally. It shows pressure @ around 40 psi but the needle jumps up and down a bit. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
