    2000 Volvo Penta 5.0 / 5.7 GI PEFS runs great at low rpm or wot

    I originally suspected the low pressure fuel pump, but my question is: If the fuel pump(s) is bad will the boat run at WOT? It starts fine and runs fine at low rpm, but once you get over 2800-3000 it begins to "pop and sputter". You push it to WOT and it gets past it and runs great all the way...
