    I have a 1997 Mariner 15hp 2 stroke throttle shift outboard. Runs like a champ, but will not shift. I've popped off the connection to the shift rod from the throttle linkage and installed a manual shift handle. That works, but the shifting is still binding. For testing I removed the linkage...
