    Hey, I purchased a new stator for 80 horse mercury engine, unknown to me I was sent a cdi electronics version not the original sierra mercury version. I am abit put off as my original stator was covered in a plastic coating, but the cdi model is fully exposed. Should I be worried about this...

    Cdi 332-5772

    Hi, How can I check CDI from 1980 blue band mercury.. the bottom 2 cyl are not giving a spark.. have tested coils, stator and trigger to be fine but want to test the CDI to make sure its the fault before purchasing a new one.. The part number is 332-5772 A6 Cheers
