    Found the cause. Code reader said cylinder #5 not firing. Mechanic replaced spark plugs. They tested the boat on the water 2x's and said all is good now. However, I got it home hooked up hose and ran it, runs great at idle But ramping rpms up to 2000 rpms (no prop turning) the engine...

    Thanks for the input. The beeps are not from overheating or oil pressure, first thing I checked. I will check the spark plug wires and plugs, good idea. Its not running real rough but enough to notice vibration and slight gas smell. Is there an inexpensive way to read any codes?
