    FYI I was looking back and noticed I typed wrong HP. I know it doesn't matter but it's 5.0 260hp.

    Great suggestion. Do you happen to remember which slide hammer you used? For this unit the seal is a double lip single seal. I think its the upper most casing that is stuck.

    I am unable to get all of the upper unit oil seal pieces out. the top dish, spring and rubber came out, but the bottom retainer dish will not move. Anyone have experience with this nuisance?
