    Generally, are Hondas good outboards?

I have two Hondas 2003 225 hp fuel injected and 2010 8 hp kicker. Excellent engines. Still going strong

So on further exam. Th to sensor appears to be bolted on to the side of the throttle body. Does this mean it replaceable?

    Bf 225. Surging

Well it was the major recall water getting up into manifolds. 2004 thereabouts. I thought it had something to do with thermostats. Probably got that wrong

    K. Measured up cable gaps. One was off-spec. Two full turns pretty close. Tested out NO Surge. I wonder it must have been a factory error. One mech did the thermostat recall. Only other work has been plugs oil and filters Well done diagnosis guys. Thx a bunch

Transporting 4 stroke on its side

Last time I hauled a motor on its side, was up an old washboard road. It was on the bottom of a skiff. Motor wore a hole in the bottom of the boat.

Bf-225 timing belt adjustment and change

No to break the crank bolt free required 500 ftlbs 3 ft 3/4 drive torque wrench. And a 1/2 drive breaker bar on the Honda tool. Breaker bar rated at 500 ftlbs. And it was near its limit
