    Outboard Rebuild Question

    Just had a '98 Johnson 115 Just had a '98 Johnson 115 rebuilt. Purchased used last year. Found out the motor had already been rebuilt and noticed a number stamped into an aluminum plate (mechanic said this is not factory). Any idea what the number means? Any chance I can identify the shop...
