    part number for the lift bracket came out of the 1976 Evinrude manual. The model is 85693G the part number for the lift bracket is 122612. I wrote that part no incorrectly in my post

    Thank you. So far when I turn the motor all the way to the side I can almost get it in place, but when I put the motor back in the center position the front exhaust housing smashes into the bracket and it is very hard to turn the motor across it to the other side. That doesn't seem right to...
