    Using an impact wrench.

    When replacing a stator on an F115, for example, can I use an impact wrench to loosen the 36mm nut that holds the flywheel on. I don't want to damage the crankshaft or any component attached to it. Thank you in advance.

    2005 Yamaha F115 charging problem.

    Thank you all for responding. I found a VERY loose ground stud that had three ground wires coming to it. One was from the ground wire from the VRR. That is almost certainly the cause of the problem. Thank you Boscoe.

    2005 Yamaha F115 post correction.

    I made a mistake. The plug into the VRR was still the original plug. So the plug had not burned 'again'. Tomorrow I will remove the VRR and check its output port.
