    I don't think so. i removed mine 5 times the lats 2 days. I'm now an expert...lol. If you unscrew the impeller housing and disconnect the hose going down to the water distributor, you will then be able to pull it out 3 to four inches apart and you'll have good acces to the clips that secure...
