    1993 evinrude 9.9l electric start on 16' bass tracker starter sticks

    I have a evinrude 9.9 1993 starter that I have to hit the key 3-5 times to get it started. Just clicks then starts. Any idea what makes this happen. Is the starter bad ? Please any help is truly appreciated.
