    Honda 50hp outboard surges at high revs (>5000hp)

    Hi all, When I throttle my Honda 50HP outboard, the revs go up until ~4000-5000 rpm, but when I further increase throttle, the revs stay constant, drop slightly, or the engine even stops altogether. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks!
