Would it be possible that a bad rectifier could cause this issue? I just discovered that I have no charging voltage and I suspect it might be a bad rectifier. Is this likely a related issue or separate problem all together?
Thank you for the tips! I have not had the flywheel off so I'll do that next. I honestly didn't even know it had a distributor cap. I am an automotive mechanic but these engines I am learning are quite different than cars!
