    fuse ok, tried jumper wire from switch previously wouldn't operate solenoid, assumed switch was problem. purchased and fitted new switch, solenoid still won't operate.

    Tried your idea, still the same :(, all positive connections read 12.9 volts all earth connections are good it has me at a loss.

    Can you help, I have a 1991 with electric start 15hp evinrude, it will not turn over via key, bypass solenoid and it starts 1st time. I have fitted new solenoid will not turn over, fitted new ignition switch still won't turn over, checked wiring for breaks in cables, anyone else had this problem?
