    Water in 8hp johnson gearbox oil.

    Hello, I have found water in the gear oil and when i removed the impellar housing i found gear oil on the impellar. Also as i tried removing the impellar housung the drive shaft lifted out of the gears! Is this normal? Its a 8hp johnson around 1998 i think!
