    switching from gasoline to diesel

    i just got a boat with a ford 351 gasoline inboard engine that looks like it's seen better days. if i took out the gas engine, can a ford 351 diesel inboard engine be put into the boat instead? would the diesel line up on the engine supports, etc.? i understand that the fuel tank and lines...
