    I have a 1976 mercury 500 50hp im replacing the stator and need to know how to tell if my flywheel has bolted or glued magnets since cdi has a stator for both I've looked in my manual searched the internet and can not find help in identifying the difference thanks in advance for any help or insight

    Hi I have a 1976 mercury 500 50 hp that needs new stator cdi has one for bolted and glued how do I tell the difference my manual is no help and I don't want to buy the wrong one and be out more money thanks in advance for the help
