    I have a 2005 2.5 with square heads and want to use a new power head with pound style

    I have a 2005 2.5 200 carb with a toasted piston. I bought a new merc factory 2.5 carb, but it has different style heads. Will this still work on my lower end.

    225 power head on a 200

    I have a boat with 2004 twin 200 mercury carb models. I need to replace one power head and have found a good used 2003 225 carb model. My question is can I put this power head on and what would I need to do to de - rate the horse power so it is the same as the 200. Is this possible??
