    Thanks. That was a bit of reading. I'm thinking only things I haven't tried but I will as soon as it's not raining (sw florida summer) is disconnect the plug with bl/y, bl/o, bl see what happens then try disconnect yellows from stator and see what happens but have no idea where to find a mercury...

    I have twin 97 Johnson 150 after using one day had problem with proper shifting on one. At home I put water to it and was satisfied with adjustments and a couple minutes later it stalled out. It turns over strong but no spark. Swapped ignition switch's to take out safety stop as possible...
