    Hi thanks for the answer. I have cleaned the carb with brake cleaner and ultrasonic bath and the carb reacts to the idle screw but when I turn it 1/8 a time it won't fix the problem (too high idle speed and dies in slower) and it will eventually just flood. So is the only way to clean carb...

    Hello I have an Tohatsu 3.5 which won't work well on idle so I've been thinking to replace the carb with 5hp version. Does anyone know how damaging that is for the engine in the long run and where I should get the 5hp carb to get a decent one? Thanks for the answers!

    Thanks for the answer. I already tried that when the motor was running in water bucket and it didnt help, but the water was getting pretty warm so i stopped. But i guess i can try that next when its in the lake because now its attached to my boat. So your opinion is that its not getting...
