I have a Mercury 60 hp outboard that is blowing the 15 amp Smartcraft Data Bus fuse and stops charging the batteries. The fuse blows when the engine is revved above 2000 rpm.
So far I have done the following:
Had the batteries checked both checked out ok.
Checked the stator output with DVA...
Does anyone on here know what the peak voltage (DVA) should be on a 2006 Mercury 60 hp 4 stroke efi should be. I can't find any info online for this motor. The stator has only has 2 wires (yellow). Thanks
I have a 2006 Mercury 60 HP 4 stroke EFI outboard that is blowing the 15 amp Smartcraft Data Bus fuse. The voltage regulator / rectifer has been replaced and the fuse still blows when the motor is revved up to about 2500-3000 rpms. The battery is not charging when the fuse is blown. Any help...
