    What spark plug wire to install?

    My boat engine is a 5.7LX, Thunderbold V ignition, newly remanufactured, with bran new vortec heads. I plan to install new plug wires. Should I install high resistance wires (500 ohms/foot), or low resistance wires (270 ohms/foot) ? Tanks, Bob

    Smoke comming out of valve cover

    I have a half cabin 26 feet with a Mercruiser 5.7L 1997. A lot of smoke (fume) comes out of the valve cover vent, even when the engine is cold. What does it mean and What can I do to fix that?
