    Lower Unit Wont seat?

    I have a 1999 150hp Optimax DFI. I had no problem removing the lower unit to replace the water pump. I replaced the pump but now I am having trouble getting the lower unit to seat properly. I'm about an inch shy. I had a friend turn the fly wheel slightly as I pushed but that didn't help...

    I took a pic. I'm assuming these are the injectors. I would have to say they are blue (look more like purple to me), but I think this is what you are referring to.
