    Mercury 200 20hp 67'- Gear Oil - Bronze component?

    Hi! I have a Mercury 200 20hp 67' Put GL-5 gear oil, but afterward discovered it could damage bronze parts because of its phosphorous additive. Does anyone know if this engine has bronze components, like bearings? I would then change the oil for GL-4, hoping there are no damages yet.

    69' Merc 200 20hp rope starter: other year would fit?

    Hi! My rope starter on my 69' Merc 200 20hp needs to be changed ( One of the three tooth is missing). Hard to find, wondering if any other year would fit? Or maybe from another engine?
