    I'm trying to understand choke operation on a 9.9 bigfoot. When the choke is pulled out and pushed in does the butterfly suppose to close and open? This motor runs with choke on, but dies when pushed in.

    MY question is will the small primer bulb(not large primer bulb attached to gas line) get hard after pushing the bulb many times and fill with fuel? Mine will not. Feels like an air leak, but I'm a novice.

    I have a new boat(to me) that I need to replace, inspect water pump. I have removed 5 bolts on lower unit but using a rubber mallet to assist lowering unit, no go. Are there any other bolts or gatchas that I missed?
