    Engine runs great in idle in but surges at 1500rpm

    Hi guys My mercruiser 5.0 mpi sn:336590 I believe is a 2008 Anyway it idles good but as soon as i rev it past 1500rpm is surges up and down and get a beep at the cockpit feels like it's about to cut out and sometimes does. Thanks in advance
