    Will 1970 Evinrude 115HP lower unit fit on 1971 125 HP ?!?

    I have a 125 HP that is still quite powerful but will not shift even with right gear oil and water is now getting in oil. I saw a 115 HP for sale and the driveshaft part number is the same but housing assembly is different number. It is 3 and a half drive to get there, any help appreciated.
