    2016 MFS40 Swivel Tube bushing replacement

    While replacing the water pump on my 40, I noticed there is some play in the lower swivel tube, and also grease coming out. I am thinking its the lower bushing. I am assuming the powerhead will have to come off for this? Is this something that would be covered under warranty?

    Hooking tach up - MFS40A

    I would like to hook up a tach to my Tohatsu 40HP 4 stroke. I know I can buy the $100 tach plus the $45 wiring harness, but is there another way? Ignition wire and signal wire, but I don't know which color wires to look for. Thanks for any help.
