    I have a 78 checkmate trimate I have a 78 checkmate trimate iv with the 3.0l mercruiser in it. Yesterday while running it the driveway with the muffs on i noticed water starting to leak from the back of the motor. I cant really see excactly where but it looks to be from around the starter...

    Mercruiser motor

    just bought a 78 checkmate. ho just bought a 78 checkmate. hooked up the hose turned over the engine. the engine started fine but i noticed water leaking from the the top of the motor any help would be nice
