    1989 Force 50hp Runs But wont shift HELP

    My motor starts and runs good. My motor starts and runs good. As soon as I try to shift into reverse neutral or forward it cuts out I don't know why? I start it let it warm up in the warm up gear position then try to pop it in reverse and it dies. Does anyone know what it might be?
