    Hopefully this completes this thread, believe the root cause was out of limit Rods, don't understand this, but the Rod that spun was out of limits on the low side, under limit? Two others were over, one was in limit "A" dimension, but not round. Replacing all Rods.

    Connecting Rod change? Oh no, hope not, p/n does not show superseded. I bought a new one to replace the one that spun. The new bearing colors and P/N's seem to directly relate to the old, the only difference seems to be 6CB to 6JD, maybe a material diff? 20-00 goes from Blue to Red, 10-00 goes...

    So like I said, the powerhead looked like new, fresh rebuild (new oil pump). In an abundance of caution, I'm replacing the Rod that spun. In your opinion, what do you thing caused the bearing to spin?

    I ordered the 6CB, but looks like it's what you say, superseded by 6JD, but I hope the color hasn't changed, then they wouldn't match the chart in the manual... below pic is from the actual invoice

    I ordered the parts form boats.net, they only list Blue, Green, and Yellow Conn rod bearings for a 2014 LF200XCA, yeh the color is off, but I think they must have been blue. Unless they are completely wrong. Is it normal for the bearing width to be significantly be narrower than rod? like 1/64...

    What about this, I don't see any table entry that has "blue-blue", but the bearings appear to all be coded blue. Does the math say "blue-blue=spun bearing"?
