    1981 Mariner 60hp 2 cyl 2 stroke. Can this be modified to work with an AGM type starting battery?

    Would like to be able to use an AGM type starting (#1) battery. Does anyone know if this can be converted to a regulated electrical system or what would be required to make this work? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    Looking for year and model for Mariner 60hp 2 cyl 2 stroke Japanese built

    I have a 60hp 2 cyl 2 stroke with a partial serial number or L322779. The tag was lost before I purchased from my uncle who said he thought the prefix was 675 but is not sure. It has the cdi ignition. He believes it is a 1981 but is not sure. Can anyone help?
