    Exhaust Anode. Why does Honda do this?

    It’s often that using the impact driver to first TIGHTEN the offending bolt. Not a bunch, just a hair. Then reverse & loosen. Then tighten, then loosen. Sometimes that will break the bond. Use heat in conjunction with this.

    Gas leak somewhere

    I keep one of those little plastic tanks from a lawnmower. It’s attached basically to a stick with a clamp on one end. Attach it anywhere above the motor, so it gravity feeds into the carburetter. If the motor starts and runs fine, then you know, leave the carb alone and look at your fuel pump...

    Generally, you don’t keep torquing those bolts til the wheel pops off. Turn them down to the thickness of the flywheel, create some good tension by turning the puller Center wheel.     It’s a 50+ year old motor. It’s not worth trying to test condensers, they’re cheap. You can buy an entire ignition set, (coils, points, condensers),for $100. If the motor has good compression & gearcase, that’s what I would do. Rather than maybe have to pull it apart again in a couple of years...
