    Mercruiser 8.2 lack of power

    Did anyone else find the fix, other than the starter? Having the same issues on both my 502 mags. Both ran at 4700 rpms during the test run before I bought it. Got it home and will only get to 2900 when trying to get on plane and 4000 once on plane. I changed the filters and plugs with no help...
