    Not sure i just bought it last July. The whole top end of motor was replaced right before i bought it also

    I have a 2004 Johnson outboard that starts fine and i run up the lake shut it down to fish about an hour when i start it back up i can only give it a little bit of throttle before it wants to cut out and after around 5 minutes it clears up and runs fine until i stop again.
