    Need help finding alternator connector for 1978 mercruiser-pics included

    Replacing rear main seal, is it possible to replace without overhauling engine like the shop manual

    1978 mercruiser gm 153 ci 120 hp= I am pulling the motor because the coupler went out due to poor alignment and since ill have the engine out might as well replace the seal. I have done many front seals on vehicles but not any rear main seals. The shop manual i have states how to replace it...
