    1996 Evinrude 175 Engine kicks up when put it in reverse

    Problem: When backing off the trailer in hard reverse the engine has started to "kick up" - like if trimmed all the way up then drops right back down hard - is this a hydraulic pump problem? 1996 Evinrude 175 HP Ocean Pro. Thanks. Derek
