    Need help tracing age of outboard please

    Hi all,I'm new to boating and have just purchased a 17' grp with twin mariner 40 hp 2 stroke motors and I'm trying to find out the age so I can buy manual, the numbers are 40M 6E9S018687, 40M 6E9L358856 any help would be great, Cheers Dek
