    Wires were disconnected by the previous owner, and when I was reconnecting it I seen the plastic filler on the business end had melted and ran out of the solenoid. So I am assuming it is bad.     I will have to read up on the timing. It wasn't cranking hard before it started hitting every time I tried to start it. But, that probably doesn't tell me if the timing is right.

    When it is cranking, throws out major bubbles in the water. That would tell me the exhaust is clear, right?
