    As I read you reply this morning I remembered the deal with cranking speed. I have replaced the starter and battery. Still no fire, still spins as if it's a starter dragging. Spins faster with plugs removed. 125 psi compression. Motor has been sitting for 4 years yet looks clean and shiny...

    My. bad, One more thing. The info I posted in my OP is from the engine tag that was placed there by QuickSilver. It's a rebuilt power head. It has 50 hours on it since rebuild.
