    Nissan NS15D2 midsection crack - is this an issue?

    See picture. When cleaning down my motor today I found a crack - probably quite old in the midsection. Is this an issue? If so, can it be repaired or does the part need to be swapped out? Motor runs fine. Gear case oil is fine, no water.
