    1998 50hp johnson outboard.

    Can anybody tell me if this motor has a shear pin? Was cruising across the lake when it suddenly felt like it went out of gear. it had enough push while idling to get us back but foward and rev feels like its free wheeling. Didn't any loud noise or grinding sounds. Thanks for your help.
