    Once its been primed does it run well? could be the fuel line isnt being gravity feed to the carb?

    There possibly could be a air leak somwhere or the fuel valve on the side of the motor could be not fully opening? Did you check the float in the carb? and also does it run fine under load when you prime some fuel into the carb?

    Yeah I mean check all your furl lines and if the top bowl isn't filling with fuel could be a partially blocked needle or faulty float inside the carb. But yeah we bought a alixpress fuel pump for ours and worked a treat so far. If you have replaced it it's probably unlikely to be that however...

    We have a put a new fuel pump and hoses and still no fix. I understand that when starting that oil will get pumped in, and yes starting there is a cloud of smoke. However even after 15min of idling it will still misfire ever 2 min or so. and when reving low rpm it will run quite rough and smoke...
