    I'm in need of a carb for a 1987 evinrude 40 hp with AM397645 stamped on the body of the carb.I have a pair of carbs stamped 3840469 also 2 pair of carbs stamped 328278 will trade a pair of these for 1 of the one I need. THANKS Dally

    Runs only 1 cyl

    mix oil with gas, Thanks,I did try another set of carbs and it ran fine both cyl's for about 15 min then same thing again. really has me bufflowed..

    I"m a new member and thanks for accepting me never been on any before but Happy to be here, I have a 1987 40 hp evinrude that runs like new on the bottom cyl,put hand over top cyl nothing happens until gas in top cyl kills it with fuel and when I remove my hand gas comes out, compression 145...
