Average fella living between lake McQuarie , wangi and port Stephen so doing a fair bit of outside fishing off Swansea and Nelson’s bay ,Broughton to boatharbour. And am a specialist red rock cod and Sargent barker slayer from way back who would like to catch a lot more edible fish like big snapper (anything that can be classed as a snapper not a squire) and jewie , trag and nanigai .
( though I would like to mention the Sargent baker eat up as well as any , ya just have to work around TWO rows of pin bones , haven’t been game to try boning a red rock cod to eat yet cause spikes are hours of agony,not that keen for a feed of fish !! Lol
