    tilt motor interchange

    I have a 1992(?) Nissan NS40D 40 HP 2 stroke. The motor for the tilt/trim pump died, it rusted through the top. Are there tilt pump motors from other manufacturers that will match up to the Nissan pump? The Nissan motor has a three bolt flange. The motor is strong and I would hate to junk it.
